Colonel Guardino (Robert Culp) orders Lt. Martin Kirn (Sal Landi) and Lt. Fetterman (Andrew Divoff) to lead a group of marines to diffuse bombs on a remote island once used as a military practice target. When they arrive, they quickly discover that their superiors had ulterior motives and learn there is an alien (XTRO) on the loose.
